What is a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant?



An IBCLC ( International Board Certified Lactation Consultant,) is a member of the heath care team who can provide knowledge and counseling about sub optimal and optimal breastfeeding situations.

An IBCLC is certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners, independetly accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA.)
